From Japanese concept label Final Home comes the Bright Satin Hooded Coat. Designed something like a parka and double-breasted trench hybrid, the coat features a double-layer front panel, drawstring hood, hip flap pockets, epaulets, adjustable cuffs, and fishtail drawstring hem in a weather-proof coating cotton. The jacket wears long and is available here for $500.

From New York City, Sophomore clothing has released their 2010 Spring lookbook and promo video. With shots by Cass Bird, the 2010 line pays homage to the 1970s Lower East Side hipster scene. We adore this brand, their look, their attitude, and we can't wait to purchase some of the new items.

In a rather unique partnership, Adidas Originals and Canadian retail conglomerate, Ransom Holding Co., have teamed up for a line of heavy duty high top sneakers and boots. The footwear project was born out of the northern outdoors and are unlike most Adidas sneakers, without the Adidas 3 strip shoe trademark. Online sneaker store, Ubiq Life has snagged a few of these limited edition shoes and put them up for sale.

The video below from Cool Hunting Video visits Nike's new store in the heart of Tokyo's Harajuku district, interviewing architect Masamichi Katayama. The store which opened last November, makes an inspiringly distinct departure from the look of traditional Nike spaces, taking on a more gallery-like approach, mimicking something out of the art world, not retail. The skinny on Blood Is The New Black.

Launched in 2004, designer and line curator Mitra Khayyam set out to expose the emerging underground art scene by transforming their traditional art medium into wearable statements. Born out of her personal thesis written a few years before, Blood Is The New Black transpired and 5 years later, they're at the top of their game; more relevant and popular then ever before.

NY based Opening Ceremony has released it's main collection lookbook for the 2010 Spring/Summer season. The lookbook was shot by David Sherry and styled by Benjamin Sturgill at Milk Studios. Opening Ceremony has always been one of our favorite indie designers and this time around, they've managed to keep us super interested in the fashion they're putting out.

The Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2010 line was unveiled in the January issue of GQ Japan. The line is really fresh, aimed to appeal to young fashionistas. The spread, entitled “New British Attitude” was shot by Arnald Anaya-Lucca and looks killer.
