Asics Gel Lyte III by Junya Watanabe

Japanese designer Junya Watanabe may be famous for his high-fashion collections under the COMME Des GARCONS label, but he is no stranger to collaborative sneaker design. After working with Converse back in 2007, he has recently unveiled a partnership with ASICS using the Gel Lyte III as a canvas. Departing from his usual stark black aesthetic, he has swathed the shoe in zebra-print patterns, neon pink and muted gold. These vibrant ASICS Gel Lyte IIIs will be a Japan-only release, available in October 2011.
