Land Of Talk is a female fronted indie rock band from Montreal. The band signed to Saddle Creek Records and put out the acclaimed Fun And Laughter EP in October, stacking up on a lot of bloggers top 10 lists. From that record, enjoy "May You Never" below and keep your eye on this band for 2010.

Sally is best known as a co-writer on Feist's "1 2 3 4" and has toured with Broken Social Scene, Bright Eyes, and Stars. From forthcoming Spring release, enjoy the adorable "Harmony To My Heartbeat" below.

Portland, OR based Girlsfriends sound killer! Gang vocals. Lots of energy. Loud music. In a blogosphere of lo-fi and chill wave, Girlfriends is amazingly refreshing. The project headed by Jerry Joiner has two albums recorded with 20ish songs for each and supposedly a great live show. From a yet to be announced record, enjoy "Brobocop."

Blame Ringo is an indie folk band from Brisbane, Australia. Originally called Goodnight Vienna, the band was threatened by Ringo Starr’s legal team to change their name, as Goodnight Vienna is the name of a Ringo Starr record.

North Carolina’s Bombadil is a backwoods indie rock band who released Tarpits and Canyonlands in July. The band sees the record as a "joyful document that celebrates all the flaws and sorrows of the human condition…" From the record, check out "Sad Birthday"below. It's got a nice bounce to it.

Directed by Keith Scofield, enjoy this new video for “Heaven Can Wait” by Charlotte Gainsbourg featuring Beck. The video is funny, and dark, and a little sick at time, which really captures all that we could ask for. And the song holds similar attributes too. Love it!

From Islands‘ latest record, Vapours, enjoy “Tender Torture” below. The Nick Diamonds indie pop band recently finished a major tour around North America to cap off the support to the bands third studio record released in September. Vapours is a moody synthesizer and drum-machine-heavy based record with classic pop sensibilities.

Check this chilled out remix of “Cheerleader” from Grizzly Bear, reworked by Neon Indian. The track, officially titled “Cheerleader (Neon Indian Sega Genesis P-Orridge Remix)," is one of two Neon Indian remixes done for the song, both found on Pitchfork. Call it chillwave or lo-fi pop, it’s good, and something is happening here.
