Mexico City based Hello Seahorse! is an unlikely fit for their sound considering that they are based in Mexico. Expecting something completely different, Hello Seahorse! is melodic indie pop band singing in beautiful English. It's catchy and pretty, sounding like something that should have came out of US's northeast indie scene. Signed to Portland, OR's Magic Maker Records, the band released Hoy A Las Ocho in late 2008 and have since released their Bestia record in 2009.
