The Impossible Project
The Impossible Project
The Impossible Project is focused on bringing instant film photography back to life. When Polaroid ended instant film production in 2008, The Impossible Project picked up where they left off—purchasing a Polaroid factory and equipment in Holland. Now they're on track to start producing their own instant film in early 2010.
But don't expect just another vintage Polaroid rip off. The Impossible Project's aim is to "develop a new product with new characteristics, consisting of new optimised components, produced with a streamlined modern setup. An innovative and fresh analog material, sold under a new brand name that perfectly will match the global re-positioning of Integral Films." With Lady Gaga fronting as creative director (yes, Lady Gaga) and a small team of innovative analog thinkers, we're expecting something awesome out of this Impossible Project.
