Public Bike D1
Public Bike D1
The Public D1 is a cruiser for modernists. It is Public's lightest and purest model and a quintessential statement in simplicity.
Having only one gear, it is ideal for flat and gently sloping topographies. But it is geared generously so that fit bicyclists can ride it almost anywhere. The light steel frame makes it an ideal choice for urbanites that carry a bike up or down stairs for home or office or onto trains and subways. The frame style is based on the classic "diamond" frame geometry that has been the standard for city bikes, touring bikes, and even racing bikes dating back to the late 19th century.
